Translation:
On 17 October 2001, ANZAG was presented with the German Logistics Award at a festive event held at the philharmonic hall at Berlin with more than 2000 guests.
The German Logistics Award is the most prestigious prize awarded in the area of logistics. Since 1984 it has been presented every year by the BVL for outstanding, comprehensive and integrated logistics solutions. Previous recipients of the award include well-known industry and trade companies such as Bosch-Siemens, BMW, Karstadt, Boehringer Ingelheim, Otto Versand, the logistics provider Fiege Logistik and the winner of 2000, Munich Airport.
After several unsuccessful attempts, ANZAG is the first pharmaceutical wholesaler to win the award. This shows that ANZAG has created a future-oriented, fully integrated logistics system that sets standards far exceeding the boundaries of the pharmaceutical wholesale industry. And that we provide leading logistics services that are by no means limited to pharmaceutical wholesale trade in Germany.
Without Mandat and without you, gentlemen, we would not have achieved this! Providing constructive and critical co-operation for more than 7 years, you have significantly helped us to devise key projects for the establishment of an integrated service company and to create and implement project and organization plans together with our employees. More specifically, I would like to point to the key projects “Establishment and Certification of AS Logistics”, in particular “Establishment and Implementation of Regional ANZAG Service Associations” as examples.
All executives at our company specifically praise your method of project management and your ability to align and focus different interests among a project team. It goes without saying that we have by now applied your work methods to the entire operation. Finally, the overall project control method that you have developed enables the directors and executives to keep updated on all projects going on in the company in real time on a daily basis.
I would like to thank the entire Mandat team explicitly for the excellent constructive and pleasant co-operation in the past years. You were and are the critical sounding board that is absolutely necessary to make sure that one does not lose track of one’s goals over the years.
Thank you very much again for the excellent co-operation!
Best regards,
Horst Trimborn, Chairman of the Management Board (CEO)
