Co-operation between Operations, Marketing & Sales and the IT organizational units is critical in a high-frequency logistics service company such as DHL Express Deutschland. In order to significantly improve this co-operation and align it to the overall strategy of the DHL network, taking into consideration the link with the Deutsche Post World Net (DPWN), we created the project “OPS + M&S + IT= Profit” in co-operation with you.
You and your colleague Holger Kampshoff managed to accurately identify the critical elements of this project and, together with the project team, to turn them into concrete, easy to handle work packages. During the course of the project, including in difficult phases, you succeeded in spotting the reasons for the different area interests of those involved, encouraging solutions for how to improve process co-operation for the benefit of our clients. The detailed considerations within the „Product Development“ process and the critical discussions during the partial project “Strategy, Guidelines, Self-Image” are particularly worth mentioning.
As project manager, the co-operation with Mandat gave me pleasure and brought us forward considerably with regard to critical points in the corporate development. Your project method, which ensures that our staff can contribute their own expert know-how, is exemplary and significantly contributes to the strong acceptance of the issues developed.
